Member
Henry Babcock advises a number of client families and heads our marketing activities. From 1999 until 2004, he was Chief Executive Officer. Henry first joined the Train, Babcock organization in 1976 and has been a Member of the firm since 1980. His early career included managing an affiliated venture capital company that was active in the U.S. and abroad and running a Southeast Asia trading and construction company that he co-founded in 1966. He has a BA from Yale and an MBA from Columbia.

Junior Research AnalystJoseph DiMarco began his investment career as an intern with Train, Babcock in 2007. In June 2008, he joined TBA as a Junior Research Analyst. Joe graduated, with honors, from Campbell University in 2008 with a BA in Accounting and an MBA in Business Administration.

DirectorBen joined Train, Babcock in 2009. Prior to his arrival he was a Managing Director of the advisory firm MB Investment Partners for 16 years. Ben joined White, Weld & Co. as a broker for wealthy individuals and mid-sized institutions. He subsequently worked in the same capacity at Morgan Stanley for 16 years. Before entering the investment business, he taught history at Suffield Academy. Ben is a graduate of Yale University with a BA in History and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Member, Chief Executive OfficerBrian Keenan was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2004 after serving as Chief Operating Officer for seven years. Brian joined Train, Babcock in 1997 after 20 years in private and commercial banking, becoming a Member of the firm in 2000. He previously ran a Private Banking Unit at the Bank of New York that managed the investment, credit and financial planning needs of high net worth clients. Before that, he was a Group Vice-President of First American Bank with responsibility for the lending, marketing and operations management of their New York City offices. Brian is a graduate of New York University’s College of Business and the University of Pennsylvania-Wharton School Management Program for Bankers.

Bond SpecialistVirginia Lynch oversees Train, Babcock’s bond portfolios. Prior to joining our firm in 2003, she was with The Bank of New York as a Vice President in their Personal Fixed Income Division for 23 years. She managed over 120 tax-exempt bond portfolios for clients in the Private Banking Division during her final 12 years. Before that, Virginia was the Senior Trader on the Tax Exempt Desk where she was responsible for buying and selling fixed income instruments for the Personal Asset and Trust Divisions. Virginia began her career at Blyth, Eastman Dillon & Co. as a Tax Exempt Bond Trader.

Member, Portfolio ManagerPamela Raviol began her investment career as an Associate with Train, Babcock in 1986 and has been a Portfolio Manager since 1992 with primary responsibility for client portfolios and wealth management. Pam was admitted as a Member of the firm in 1995. She received a BA in Economics from Mount Holyoke.

Member, Chief Investment OfficerJohn Rogicki joined Train, Babcock as Senior Portfolio Manager in 1990 and became a Member of the firm in 1995. He has been Chairman of the Investment Committee since 2000. From 1971 until 1990, he was with Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. During his final 10 years at Morgan, he was a Vice President in the Trust and Investment Division where he managed over $500 million of assets for high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations and advised clients on estate and tax planning issues. He received a BA in Accounting from St. Francis.

Chief Operating Officer, Head TraderArtie was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2011. He joined Train, Babcock as the firm’s trader and order room administrator in September 1999 overseeing all trading and operations. Prior to joining TBA, Artie was employed at the Bank of New York from 1996-1999 as a mutual fund control accountant in the control and risk management department where was elevated to assistant manager. He also was a mutual fund accountant at Mutual of New York from 1992-1996. Artie holds a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from the New Jersey City University.

Senior Research AnalystKitty Wong joined Train, Babcock in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Kitty worked for twelve years at Fiduciary Trust Company International, which was then branched into Franklin Global Advisers. Kitty has over seven years experience in fundamental research for U.S. small and mid cap companies, as well as for large and mid cap companies in the emerging markets. Kitty graduated summa cum laude with a BBA, and later completed her MBA in finance at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. Kitty is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Research AnalystKen Zuckerberg joined Train, Babcock in 2010 with nearly 20 years experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining the firm, Ken operated Carlan Advisors, an independent research and consulting firm since 2003. Before conceiving Carlan, he spent twelve years in fundamental research, specializing in financial services institutions, for Lazard Asset Management, Keefe Bruyette & Woods, among other institutions. Ken graduated with a BS in finance from the University of South Florida and has completed advanced coursework in accounting and financial statement analysis, including Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial analyst (CFA) program.
